Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria Emerges Today

A new most beautiful girl in Nigeria will emerge today as Silverbird Group, organisers of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN), holds the 23rd edition of the beauty pageant, where the new beauty queen that will represent Nigeria at all international pageants, including the Miss World, will emerge.



The event is scheduled to hold at the Expo Centre of Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, at 7.00 p.m.

Mr. Guy Bruce, executive producer of the pageant, said this year’s edition would be a bumper package with exciting side attractions and entertainment personalities from around the world as it coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Silverbird Group.

The winner, according to Bruce, will go home with N2 million, a brand new car, a MultiChoice decoder, with a one year free subscription, represents Nigeria at the Miss World Beauty contest, among other benefits.

Some of the expected personalities include former Miss World and first African to win the world contest, Agbani Darego; hip-hop artistes, Jeffrey Daniel and Juliette Hagerman of Shalama, co-performers with ace hip-hop legend, Michael Jackson, NEXT from the USA, among others.

Thanking the sponsors of the show which he said included Lufthansa, MTN, La Casera, Subaru, Eko Hotel & Suites, Multichoice, David Wej and Touch of Glamour, Bruce noted that the show was not just to showcase beauty, but also help build confidence, talents, values and principles in the young girls as well as open doors of opportunities for them in building a good career in life.
