Nollywood actor, Yemi Blaq has emerged winner of the Season Two Celebrity Takes 2, the highly popular reality television dance show. Blaq was pronounced winner at the Grand Finale organised at the end of the 13-week show which started in November 2009.
The final result of the dance show shocked most of the guests that had gathered inside the Liberty Hall in Lekki, Lagos to witness it.
Based on the stage performance of the three finalists, many of them had thought Stella Damasus would emerge successful and thereby become this Season‘s best celebrity dancer in the country. Initially Stella had led the pack ater scoring 48.64 percent, while Blaq and Fred Amata scored 41.67 and 31.6 per cent, respectively.
The votes cast by the fans of the celebrities, however changed the tide against Stella. According to the firm that was assigned the responsibility of managing the votes, Alexander Forbes Consulting Actuaries Nigeria Limited, Blaq recorded more votes than his counterparts and had the highest overall points.
