This is the official Premiere of Omawumi’s latest video for the hit single, Today Na Today, which is currently getting mad airplay on local radio stations. Omawumi’s star is shining brighter by the day across Africa, and judging by the strength and originality in her voice and lyrics, we may be seeing Nigeria’s own response to the success previously recorded by other African divas like Angelique Kidjo, Brenda Fassie and Yvonne Chaka Chaka across the globe.
The video, which was directed by Kemi Adetiba for Dragonfly Productions, was entirely shot in Lagos by an all-Nigerian crew. It also has a hidden storyline for y’all to figure out.
