Female Rap Artiste Lil Mama Jumps In On Alicia Keys and Jay Z On Stage

You would have thought the drama at the VMA’s last night would have ended with Kanye West’s outburst at Taylor Swift’s win of Best Video….but no it didn’t.
The award night also saw America’s Best Dance Crew judge “Lil Mama” take the stage during Jay-Z’s performance of ‘Empire State of Mind’ with Alicia Keys. As it came to the last verse of the song Lil Mama courageously came on stage and started bobbing her head to the beat as if she was supposed to be performing with the two stars. Lil Mama then persisted to continue dancing on stage while Jay-Z and Alicia Keys performed. Jay-Z seemed a little stunned but as a professional continued to perform. Jay-Z patted Lil Mama in an attempt to get her to come off stage but Lil Mama blatantly ignored him and continued. When it came to the posing at the end of the performance which was clearly meant for Jay-Z and Alicia Keys alone, Lil Mama stayed put and posed alongside them.
Lil Mama has recorded with T Pain and Chris Brown.American Rapper Fabolous showed his disapproval for her actions in his tweets on Twitter. A few included: ‘Lil Mama is gonna get security at the stages of every award show from now on’, ‘Lil Mama is Jay-Z’s hypeman, she jus got there late’ and ‘ Lil Mama is like the dude that parachutes down on the field during a game!’
