Johnny Depp Named America's Most Favorite Actor for the Second Year

        Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has been named America's most favorite actor for the second year .

  A 2012 Harris Poll was conducted and the 48-year-old actor won the distinction for the second time after previously holding the honor in 2011 as well.Actors Denzel Washington and Clint Eastwood, tied for second place.

     The poll, which survey 2,237 adults online in December 2011, found curious divisions between gender, race and political affiliations. Men voted Clint Eastwood as their favorite, while women voted Johnny Depp. 

  The pirates of the caribbean star recently split with his babymama Vanessa paradis after 14 years together.
