Rihanna Buys $700K Worth Of Ventilators For Barbados to fight Coronavirus
   

    In light of the current COVID-19 crisis, Rihanna is letting her fellow Barbadians know that she has their back. 
Rihanna has now donated $700,000 worth of ventilators to Barbados, which has 6 cases of the novel virus.  Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley, announced Rihanna’s generous donation which amounts to 1.4 million on the country’s local Barbadian Dollar, proving that she has taken her role as ambassador, as appointed by the government, seriously.

    Rihanna is also donating $5 million towards the fight against Coronavirus in the US, Caribbean, and Africa.

Rihanna's Foundation Donates $5 Million to Aid Global Coronavirus Response
   
 Rihanna‘s Clara Lionel Foundation has given $5 million to aid coronavirus prevention, preparation and response efforts in the United States and across the globe.
“CLF is supporting on-the-ground partners working on the frontlines of disaster response especially those focused on protecting and serving marginalized communities – helping the most vulnerable in the United States, the Caribbean and in Africa prepare for what is to come,” the foundation said in a statement.
“Never has it been more important or urgent to protect and prepare marginalized and underserved communities–those who will be hit hardest by this pandemic,” said Justine Lucas, Executive Director of the Clara Lionel Foundation.
The contribution will benefit Direct Relief, Partners In Health, Feeding America, the International Rescue Committee and World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, among others.
In addition, Rihanna and the Clara Lionel Foundation hope to help local food banks serving at-risk communities and the elderly in the U.S, accelerate testing and care in countries like Haiti and Malawi, provide protective equipment for frontline health workers and diagnostic labs and bolster the development of vaccines and other therapies around the world.

    The rapper, who turns 33 on Thursday, celebrated his birthday early by hosting a party at Poppy nightclub in West Hollywood. 
    He was joined by friends including one very special guest, Rihanna, who showed up to celebrate with Champagne Papi.
According to E! News, RiRi and her girlfriends stayed for several hours. “She was with two girlfriends and was escorted to Drake’s table by security,” said a source. “Her and Drake were talking for a while and were smiling and laughing. It seemed like a very pleasant interaction and they looked like they were having fun together as friends.”

 “Rihanna was dancing to the music and bobbing her head and seemed to be in a good mood. The whole vibe was very chill,” said another guest. “Drake had a huge smile on his face and looked excited to see Rihanna when she arrived.”

She and  Hassan Jameel were seen at the balcony of an upscale hotel apartment over the weekend while away on a romantic getaway.

Rihanna looked beautiful even with no makeup while Hassan was all smiles as they cut a glimpse of the cameras.






Jameel is the deputy president and vice chairman of family business Abdul Latif Jameel, one of the biggest companies in the world.

Rihanna attends cousin's funeral service


If you could recall last year that pop star artiste Rihanna, took to her social media page to confirm the death of her cousin, who passed on late last year.

Her cousin Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne, was gunned down at the age of 21 in Barbados late 2017.

The superstar singer was seen wiping away tears at the celebration of life in Barbados on Tuesday.
