Nick Cannon opens up on divorce with Mariah Carey and the pain in covering up his tattoo

   

Nick Cannon came out clean about his failed marriage with Mariah Carey and the recent pictures that have circulated online of his efforts to cover his "Mariah" tattoo.When asked about the tattoo, Nick Cannon simply stated that the general public was never supposed to know that he was having it changed in the first place. Cannon went on to say that he was not aware that he was being filmed by paparazzi at the time that the picture was taken.
   "I didn't know they were there. That's how sneaky the paparazzi are…. I had just gotten it done."
   Nick Cannon went on to talk openly during the short interview with Extra TV discussing emotional side of the experience.

"It was painful…. It hurt a lot, and I'm still not finished. I'm still probably like six more sessions away."

   While it is true that the Mariah Carey tattoo on Nick Cannon's back is almost gone completely, it is apparently clear that his appreciation and respect for Mariah is still intact. That was proven by the way that Nick Cannon came to her defense when asked about the poor quality of her recent on-stage vocal performances.

   "You know you might have an off night here and there, but she's one of the greatest performers and entertainers of all time, she's not worried, we're not worried, just going to keep pushing."

   Nick Cannon also stated that he has been taking "everything one day at a time" since his six-year marriage to Mariah Carey came to an end, claiming that he is "just trying to be the best person" that he can possibly be at the end of the day.

There have also been rumors about the actor's alleged affair with his friend and client, Amber Rose.
