Why did Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wait so long before they got married?

   I bet you heard that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie recently got married in secret over the weekend.What a lot of people are wondering is,why did they have to wait so long?
  To our knowledge, the superstar couple have been together since 2004 even before their 2005 film' Mr. & Mrs. Smith' . So they have been together for ten years.
The wedding is a result or a culmination of a ten year relationship and the couple had been planning to wed at their French estate Chateau Miraval in order to fulfil a promise,Angelina Jolie made to her mother before she passed away.
They were extremely close and this is Angie's way of honoring her.Such wonderful sentiments and what a beautiful tribute.We can only wish the Smiths a fulfilling and a long lasting marriage.
