  2. Is it just me? Or practically all the contestants are from the Eastern part of nigeria, does it mean other tribes don't have oppurtunity to contest or they were not just qualified to become nigeria's beauty queen! Not been tribalistic *justsaying*

    1. Your observation is in order. Its an open competition though, were everybody submits the requirement. Te selection is made by impartial judges based on pre-qualification perfomances. Non of those judges are from the eastern part of the country. However it is equally on record that that part of the country over the years has produced more beauty queens than others. arguably and anecdotally, it seems that generally they do have more beautiful and intelligent girls put together. This is a personal opinion.

    2. It doesn't matter. Other tribes should have at least been given a choice. If u ask me,this is just partiality

  8. If u r yoruba n ur doing notin why dt u go der n apply..yoruba girls often shy away from pageants.in d history of nigeria over d years pagent gals hve mostly come from d eastern part of nigeria, dey r more interested in it than d yoruba's n d hausa's. Next year is an opportunity for u to change dat..buy a form and apply

    1. Dats so very true. Wateva apnd to d likes of Bianca, Darego nd Omawunmi etc. Some of these girls r just ordinary nd i wonda if beauty and poise is not supposed to b d first criteria in a beauty paegant. Anyway, let d producers of dis show do smtin abt dis or we ll end up producing beauty queens dat ll not b at par with d oda beauty queens

  16. It doesn't make sense @ all criteria should be u must be 4rm d state u represent dis is no MBGN contest, it is MBGE where E is 4 East..

    ReplyDelete
  17. I am surprised that all d conntestants are from the east. Is miss Osun not supposed to be an indigene of Osun? That I suppose is a better way of selection rather than just anyone. You wanna represent a state u gotta be an indigene. Just a suggestion.

  29. Igbo girls are more here because they lack morals. They are ready to have sex to get what they want. Am not saying other people don't do it but igbo people are worse. Even as married women, they don't respect the union of marriage. People in lagos and abuja would understand what I mean.

    ReplyDelete
