  Popular comedian I go dye has been awarded 'Night of a thousand laff 'Most outstanding comedian .

   The award was given to him by Opa william ,the creator of the popular comedy show at the last edition of Nite of a thousand laugh ,Benin City edition .

   Receiving the award, the comedian  said “I’m honored to be given this award by critical mind like Opa William. Though I was turned down four times, I was not discouraged and mounting the stage all these years became a turning point in my career.I was born on the street and today the love gotten from the street has given me honor. This award is therefore dedicated to the undiscovered talents on the street and it is important not to always give up our dreams”.

  Night of a thousand laughs was launched in 1995 by opa williams and has served as a platform for comedians like basketmouth , I go dye, julius agwu,Gordons and many more to launch their career .
