Written and directed by Chris Ihidero, the short film captures the story of a vulnerable young girl (played by Zara Abimbola-Udofia) who, under the very eyes of her mother and brother, was violated repeatedly by her uncle.
The not-for-profit project was executed, according to Ihidero, to further create awareness about rape and related abuses, while helping to throw up conversations that could lead to solutions.
Guests at the premiere included Charles and Amaka Igwe, Sunday Are, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Ifeoma Williams, Ayeni Adekunle, Tosyn Bucknor, Jahman Anikulapo, Zeal, Niyola, Muiyiwa Oshidero, Bunmi Dipo-Salami, Olufemi Kayode, Kate Ibeanusi, Tee A, Lala, OC Ukeje, Ibiyemi and the Commissioner for women affairs in Ekiti state, Fola Richie-Adewusi.
The event was anchored by Lamide Akintobi while Yemi Adamolekun co-ordinated the conversation panel.
