Kim Kardashian is not a good role model for middle east girls- Dubai people lament

    Kim Kardashian has been blasted for receiving "queen treatment" on her recent trip to Dubai with some claiming she is "not a good role model" for young girls in the Middle East.

     The 30-year-old reality star is currently in Dubai on a promotional tour with her mother Kris Jenner and has indulged in a variety of activities including camel-riding and even trying on Burqas in stores.

    UAE fashion designer Hind Beljafla expressed her annoyance on her blog and told Gulf news.

 I said something which a lot of people have been thinking but had not voiced themselves. I wanted to express my feelings and use the platform which I am lucky to have on my blog and on Twitter to make it clear that I do not think women like Kim, who use their bodies and sex appeal to make money, should be role models for girls in the Middle East.

 A poll conducted by Gulf News showed that people were divided on whether Kim should be given star treatment during her trip to Dubai.
