Ex-beauty queen "Inna Mariam Patty" takes over Miss Ghana pageant

Miss Ghana 2004, Inna Mariam Patty has taken over the rights to organise the prestigious annual Miss Ghana pageant.
A formal announcement was made at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra Monday, at which the new organisers of the pageant, Exclusive Events Ghana, owned by Inna Patty was introduced to the press. Immediate past organisers, Media Whizz Kids, were also in tow to explain the rationale behind the changeover.

There will be no Miss Ghana this year but the search for a new beauty queen will be launched February 2012.

Unlike the past where a beauty queen will have to wait for a year before she represents the country at the Miss World pageant, new arrangements will ensure that winners will represent the country the same year they are crowned Miss Ghana.
