Rapper T I's lawyer confirms prison release date

    Contrary to recent reports, incarcerated rapper T.I. will not be released from an Arizona prison today Aug. 31.2011.
     The Atlanta rapper's associate and longtime DJ, DJ Drama tweeted a coded message yesterday , that seemed to corroborate the rumors regarding the Grand Hustle boss' early release. However, according to T.I.'s lawyer, Jonathan Leonard, who has represented the frequently incarcerated MC since 2002, T.I.'s Sept. 29 release date has not changed.

"The Bureau of Prisons  won't give you the information of his release until the very last minute," Leonard told XXL. 

    T.I. is currently housed in Forrest City Federal Prison in Arkansas, serving out an 11-month sentence for violating his parole back in September 2010, when he tested positive for ecstasy.
