Jessie J , Alexis Jordan and Katy B to perform at 2011 MOBO Awards

        On October 5th,2011 Jessie j ,Alexis  jordand and Katy B will take to the stage at Glasgow’s SECC for the 2011 MOBO Awards.

     It’s been an incredible year so far for Jessie J. The Essex born singer/songwriter has been working away as a songwriter for the last 5 years penning hits for the likes of Chris Brown, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera and Miley Cyrus. However it was late 2010 when Jessie hit the charts as an artist in her own right with the release of her debut single ‘Do It Like A Dude’ which hit No.2 on the UK singles chart. A further No.1 single ‘Price Tag’ and top 10 single ‘Nobody's Perfect’ followed as well as a No.2 album ‘Who You Are’. On October 5th Jessie will take to the stage at Glasgow’s SECC for the 2011 MOBO Awards. This will be Jessie J’s first major awards show performance to date!

      Jessie J commented: "I cannot wait to rock the stage - I have always wanted to perform at the MOBO Awards and it’s an honour to be asked. Good times!"

Also announced  is one of the breakthrough US stars of the year, Alexis Jordan. After wowing judges of America’s Got Talent back in 2006 at the tender age of 14, Alexis caught the attention of Jay Z who signed her to his Roc Nation label. Since then Alexis has enjoyed chart success on both sides of the Atlantic, scoring a top 3 hit with her debut single ‘Happiness’ and a top 6 with her second single ‘Good Girl’. On October 5th Alexis will join the girl power line up of Katy B and Jessie J on the stage in Glasgow for the 16th annual MOBO Awards ceremony, an evening which promises to be one of the biggest nights in UK music ever.
