Judith Sephuma returns to Lagos for sax appeal 3

Mike Aremu and Judith Sephuma

South African gospel/spiritual jazz artist Judith Sephuma is set to return to Lagos for the second time to perform at this year’s edition of Sax Appeal.

Sephuma thrilled guests at last year’s edition, proving to Nigerians that she has a sense of humor when she intentionally stated “I love Sex Appeal” instead of “I love Sax Appeal”.
The soulful minstrel is well known in South Africa for crying when playing the saxophone on several occasions.
She will feature at this year’s concert alongside multiple MOBO award winner Yolanda Brown, talented Nigerian artiste Waje, South Africa-based guitarist-performer Kunle Ayo and Grammy award winning Saxophonist Kenneth Gorelick (Kenny G).
As fans and music lovers gear up for the event that has been tagged “The Jazz show of the year”, the organizers have confirmed Sephuma has signed on to perform at the third edition of Sax Appeal.

Sax Appeal 3 will hold at the New Expo hall of Eko Hotels in Lagos on Sunday July 3, 2011
