Audu Maikori Steps Down As Choc City Boss

'I have headed Chocolate City for the past 10 years and its been the
most amazing period of my life despite the many challenges that came
with it.'

These are the words of Audu Maikori,CEO of Chocolate City.After ten years of heading one of the most prominent record labels in the
country, Audu has decided to step down.He revealed his intention at
the recently concluded Nigerian Entertainment Conference.

According to him,it is time for the younger folks to take charge of
affairs because they have so much to offer.


Founded in 2005,Chocolate City will celebrate its 10th anniversary
this year and the creative industry specialist thinks it is time to
hand over the reins but we are not sure to who.However,the successor
will be announced soon.
Music pundits are beginning to speculate that M.I Abaga might be the
next CEO of Chocolate City since the hip hop icon currently holds the
position of Vice-President.


Aside from steering Chocolate City to its present height of
achievements,the former Nigerian Idol judge and multi award winning
entrepreneur is also involved in social activism as he has
participated in a variety of youth empowerment projects. Audu was a
key member of the Enough is Enough rally in 2010.
