P.Diddy's Bad Boy Rapper 'G.Dep' Gets 15 Years In Prison For Murder Conviction

G.Dep

P.Diddy's BadBoy ex-Rapper G. Dep will spend at least 15 years in prison after being convicted of a 1993 New York killing.
The case was reopened when he went to police to say he'd shot someone years earlier. The 37-year-old rapper got the minimum sentence of 15 years to life on  Tuesday for his April murder conviction.
G.Dep whose real name is travell gerald coleman went to a police station in December 2010 and said when he was about 17 to 19 years old, he'd fired at someone while trying to rob him on a street corner.
Authorities paired his account with the 1993 death of John Henkel. At trial, his lawyer questioned whether police made the right match. Born Trevell Coleman, G. Dep was signed to Diddy's BadBoy in 1998 and got attention with "Special Delivery" and "Let's Get It" in the early 2000s.
