The 85th Oscars Set to Hold Feb 24,2013

   The 85th Academy Awards have been set for Feb. 24, 2013, and they'll take place once again at the Hollywood & Highland center

   The venue, formerly known as the Kodak theatre,opened in 2001 to be the permanent home of the Holywood's biggest awards ceremony.

   The 85th Academy Awards nominations will be announced on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, and the Oscar  telecast will be presented on Sunday, February 24th.

  The ceremony will be televised live by the ABC television network to more than 225 countries. 
 Meryl Streep and Octavia spencer are part of this year's Oscar winners.
