Omotola jalade,Genny Nnaji,jim iyke,others battle for Africa international film festival prizes


     The organizers of  Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF)  have announced that this year's event will   hold between the 29th of November, 2011  till  5th of December, 2011 in Lagos. Arik has patnered with the festival as its official partner and Nollywood stars have been nominated in three categories of an online competition.
 Omotola jalade, Genevieve Nnaji, funke Akindele , Mercy Johnson,patience ozokwor, joke silva and others were nominated in Best female actress category .Nollywood actors  saheed balogun ,ramsey noah, jim iyke , Nonso diobi,others were nominated in Best Actor category while producers emem isong,Kunle afolayan ,Lancelot imaseun,Tunde kelani and others were nominated in the Best producers/directors category.

   The  Poll is an online competition in conjunction with Arik Air called the FLY ARIK PRIZE FOR AFRICAN MOVIE STARS. The winners will be chosen by the general public  and it is a poll for the public's favorite Nollywood Stars.
Arik is providing a free return ticket to the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival holding in New York, for the winners (Nollywood Star) of the poll/competition.

   The Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) is a platform for the world to zoom in on the talent and beauty of Africa through film ,  hosting both local and international filmmakers, celebrities, actors, directors, film buyers, distributors, visual artists, film students, amateurs, film lovers and the press.
   Hollywood actress, ,Lynn whitfield has been confirmed to be in attendance . Last year event was held in Portharcourt,rivers state.
