Baba Suwe still under observation but shall defecate soon-NDLEA

Nollywood comic actor, Babajide Omidina aka, Baba Suwe is still been placed under observation as at 7 pm yesterday. The spokesman of the drug enforcement agency, Mitchel Ofoyeju, told an online publication that the Yoruba actor has not excreted any drug-filled feaces, but that the agency is still optimistic that he shall defecate soon.
Meanwhile, in obedience to an Ikeja High Court directive, operatives of NDLEA have promised the actor in court tomorrow. Justice Yetunde Idowu of the Ikeja High Court, has ordered that Baba Suwe be brought before her physically on November 1 by 9am.

Her order followed a motion on notice dated October 24 moved by Omidinas counsel, Mr Bamidele Aturu, who led Mr Kunle Adegoke and others. They sought an order directing the NDLEA to release the applicant from detention forthwith, pending the hearing and determination of the substantive suit. In the alternative, they prayed for an order directing the respondent to produce Omidina in court on the next adjourned date. Omidina has been in detention at the NDLEAs facility since October 12 without trial
